Online video meetings with a secured connection with doctors and patients

FaceTalk is a virtual office where you can make secure video calls with patients and other healthcare professionals. It was specially developed for use in healthcare, and offers a range of features to make it easy for doctors and patients to use. No software installation is required.

Schedule a video call with colleagues or start an ad hoc meeting

A video call can be started with FaceTalk at any time or a consultation can be scheduled in the FaceTalk agenda. This can be a conversation with one or more participants and during the conversation, documents can be shared and presentation images can be displayed in FullHD image resolution. Travel time and meeting space are saved with this.

Share (patient) data securely during an MDO

The high image quality and sound quality ensure that medical images can be shared and discussed in high resolution. Additional information such as an EPD can be displayed safely. All connections are strictly encrypted and the data shown is not recorded anywhere.

Participate from a video conferencing system, laptop, tablet or smartphone

FaceTalk also makes it possible to participate in traditional video conferences for MDOs. You can easily access FaceTalk via your own PC, tablet or smartphone at any location. Only a internet connection is required. This makes it easy to block a moment in your busy calendar.

Radboud UMC and Qconferencing

FaceTalk was developed by Qconferencing and Radboud UMC Reshape Center, so users benefit from many years of experience acquired with video consultations within the healthcare sector.

Safe communications via FaceTalk

The FaceTalk service (SaaS) was developed in accordance with the guidelines of the NEN7510 and NEN7512 standards. All videocalls are AES encrypted, and take place in unique virtual consultation rooms. The service runs on its own servers in fully certified data centres, so patient information remains completely confidential. It is also possible to maintain all patient data within the network of the healthcare organisation, and for FaceTalk to run on the basis of anonymous data.

Challenge of a rollout

The starting point is a quality product with the features necessary and great ease of use. The real challenge comes with the rollout within the organisation. We can answer your questions, such as;

How should FaceTalk be set up for different clinics and departments?

How can FaceTalk appointments be organised using the electronic patient file?

How do you provide the internal helpdesk with the tools it needs to support users?

Training and support

In collaboration with Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre, Qconferencing offers training and guidance for therapists and assistants who are getting to grips with video consultations. In a wide-ranging rollout, FaceTalk can be set up individually for each clinic. A link with the electronic patient file is provided for planning and declarations, and there is a complete management portal for management information and troubleshooting. The patient portal can also be set up to provide access to FaceTalk, so that patients can schedule appointments themselves.
